Kemper K. Knapp Law Scholarship

The Kemper K. Knapp Scholarship is made possible by the generosity of Mr. Kemper Knapp and the continued support of the Kemper K. Knapp Bequest Committee. The scholarship supports the Law School’s Legal Education Opportunities Program, which works to recruit and retain students of color and those from other traditionally disadvantaged groups.

Upon his death in 1944, Mr. Knapp left the bulk of his estate to the University of Wisconsin, with one of his stated goals to support law scholarships.
