Undergraduate Symposium

The annual Undergraduate Symposium showcases undergraduate creativity, achievement, research, service-learning and community-based research. It is open to undergraduates from all areas of study at UW–Madison including the arts, biological sciences, humanities, physical sciences, social sciences, and computer, data & information sciences. The symposium gives undergraduate students the opportunity to present their work in a professional setting, and further develop their public speaking and presentation skills. Additionally, the Undergraduate Symposium serves as a forum for other members of the campus and our community to engage with undergraduate research. Applicants to the Undergraduate Symposium are required to have support from a UW-Madison faculty/staff project mentor. All undergraduate students who submit an application and an approval form signed by their project mentor will be able to participate in in the Undergraduate Symposium.
