Dr. Jennifer Olson Mandel Scholarship

This scholarship was created in honor of Dr. Jennifer Olson Mandel. Dr. Mandel was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI. She earned her undergraduate degree and Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. In 1999 she married her husband, Dr. Christopher Mandel, an anesthesiologist. She worked as a clinical psychologist in Madison while raising her children Will, Lola, and Lucas. Dr. Mandel was an avid baker, bird watcher, athlete, marathon runner, tennis player and coach, and unfailing thank you note-writer. She was described by family, friends, and colleagues as kind, compassionate, and empathetic to everyone she encountered.

Eligibility Criteria
Graduate students in the Counseling Psychology program.
