Daryl B. Lund Graduate Fellowship Award

After earning his Ph.D in food science and chemical engineering 1968, Daryl B. Lund rose through the ranks at Wisconsin’s Department of Food Science. He left the UW in 1988, for Rutgers, and later Cornell University. Lund is the only food scientist in the history of our profession to be the Dean at two major land grant Universities. He returned to the UW in 2001 and is now an Emeritus Professor. This scholarship is in recognition of all of Dr. Lund’s accomplishments.

Eligibility Criteria
Awarded to an outstanding graduate student in the Department of Food Science. Preference given to students interested in food engineering.
