Jane Gellman Scholarship

Jane Gellman ‘71 received her bachelor’s degree in (Women’s) Physical Education from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Jane grew up in the home of two UW graduates, so the UW has been a part of her life since birth. Jane attended the University from 1967-1971. Being in Madison gave Jane the opportunity to be politically challenged by what was happening on campus and throughout the US. Since then and throughout her life she has brought a commitment to liberal politics.

Eligibility Criteria
The Donor wishes to support students with financial need who are members of underrepresented groups or populations, particularly those who are preparing to enter the health and wellness, health equity, and kinesiology fields.
