Jerome & Susan Krofta Wisconsin Rural Youth Scholarship

Jerry and Susan Krofta met in Madison while he was a student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and she worked at the UW hospital. He graduated in 1972 with BS degrees in mechanical engineering and biological systems engineering. He strongly believes in the opportunity scholarships provided and therefore supports students coming from rural areas.

Eligibility Criteria
Awarded to students who have attended a rural Wisconsin high school as defined by the United States Census Bureau with demonstrated financial need. Preference is given to incoming Freshman in CALS.
