Kenneth Eichenbaum Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was created through the generous Estate of Kenneth Eichenbaum. Kenneth graduated from the School of Education’s Department of Art in 1953. While in school he was an editor of the Octopus humor magazine. Kenneth was a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army serving in Korea as an MP. His artistic and creative skills helped him succeed in the fields of advertising and design. From the mid 1950s until he retired in 1992 he had his own ad agency, Adz Inc.

He also worked with non-profits on designs and marketing, including with the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center in Whitefish Bay. He was a member of the University of Wisconsin ­– Milwaukee board. He was an author, having published “Hoppel Poppel Kosher Comix” in 2001, among other titles. He loved to travel and leaves behind fond memories for his loving family of wonderful trips with him.

Eligibility Criteria
Scholarship support for undergraduate student majoring in graphic design.
