Alpha Chi Sigma Alumni Endowed Scholarship

This award is funded from an endowment established in 2006 for the purpose of providing undergraduate support to students in chemistry, biochemistry, and chemical engineering at UW-Madison.

To be eligible for the Alpha Chi Sigma Alumni Endowed Scholarship, students must be sophomores or juniors who are chemistry, biochemistry, or chemical engineering majors.

How to Apply
To be considered for the Alpha Chi Sigma Alumni Endowed Scholarship, log in and complete the General Application on your WiSH Dashboard. The Alpha Chi Sigma application opens in mid-December and closes in early February. During this open period, you can find the application under “Other Recommended Opportunities” on your WiSH Dashboard. Students from the Alpha Chi Sigma organization will review all completed applications and evaluate each individual student based on the answers to the two questions given, with an emphasis placed on the essay question. Award recipients are notified in mid-April.

Conditions of Award
Scholarships with a financial need component require a completed FAFSA form on file with UW-Madison. Student financial aid packages can be impacted by scholarship awards.
