Kemper K. Knapp Transfer Undergraduate Scholarship

The Kemper K. Knapp Undergraduate Scholarships are supported through the annual generous support of the Kemper K. Knapp Bequest Committee to support high academic achieving freshman and transfer students from the State of Wisconsin.

Donor Information

Influenced by classmates that included Charles Van Hise (creator of the Wisconsin Idea), Robert La Follette (former Wisconsin governor and US Senator) and Jean Bascom (daughter of university president John Bascom) Mr. Knapp sought to improve the lives of future generations of students “to cultivate in the student body ideals of honesty, sincerity, earnestness, tolerance, and social and political obligations.” The Kemper K.
