Irving W. Gerhardt Madison East FFA Scholarship

The Irving W. Gerhardt Scholarship was established through the estate of Irving Gerhardt. Mr. Gerhardt earned his master’s degree in Agricultural Education from UW-Madison in 1947. He served as a high school teacher for 44 years. Awards and honors include the Honorary American Farmer Degree, the Teacher of Teachers Gold Award and Friend of 4-H.

Eligibility Criteria
The I. W. Gerhardt – Madison East FFA Scholarship is awarded to junior or senior students majoring in Agriculture Education, who intend to pursue a career in teaching high school vocational agriculture and FFA advising or other qualified students in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences.
