Student Research Grants Competition - Research Travel

This competition includes awards for international and domestic travel for eligible UW- Madison graduate students who are traveling to conduct research supporting their dissertation, thesis or final project. If you are traveling to present at a conference or other event, you are not eligible for this award. Please visit the Student Research Grants Competition – Conference Presentation application for this type of travel. Research travel occurring between July 1, 2021 and June 30, 2022 is eligible for this award. Please visit our program site and carefully read through the information presented regarding Research Travel funds before applying. *Important COVID-19 Note: Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, all university-sponsored_ international_ travel requires approval from your college dean and/or Vice Chancellor. If your research travel requires approval, you will need to upload a completed Essential Travel Exemption Form as part of your application.
