The King-Morgridge Scholars Program is an exceptional opportunity for enterprising, creative, dedicated young adults committed to applying their talents toward poverty alleviation. Selected for their drive, academic success, and commitment to addressing problems of poverty in their own countries, King-Morgridge Scholars will hail from countries in Africa, Latin America, South and Southeast Asia, and the Caribbean.

We do not expect you to have a concrete plan of action, but we are interested in hearing about your passions, thoughts, and ideas. Please submit an essay 500-700 words in length.
  6. The King-Morgridge scholarship is meant for students who could not otherwise afford to study at university in the United States. In order for us to ensure that we are meeting the parameters laid out by our generous donors, we ask that you answer this question honestly and to the best of your ability. Please tell us how much your family can contribute annually to your university education in USD (or specify currency). Then tell us in short answer format about your family's financial status and ability to support your education.
