Donor Information
Tom Schnetz (‘74) was only 56 when he died of cancer in 2008. According to his closest friends, Tom was a devoted employee, a talented and gifted writer, an ambassador of everything that Corporate America should represent, a smart Wisconsin Badger, and a purveyor of the most outstanding Danishes one could ever taste. But most importantly, he was a great friend and even better human being. This fund honors Tom’s dedication to the University, his abilities to write well, to collaborate, to interact with colleagues in a a kind and supportive manner, and to do all that while regularly exhibiting a wicked sense of humor. It is the goal of this scholarship fund to help students to follow in his footsteps through an annual scholarship award.
