Delta Theta Sigma Robert R. Spitzer Memorial Scholarship

Delta Theta Sigma is based on the ideals of pursuing excellence in scholarship, fostering the spirit of brotherhood, ensuring social and cultural unity, and furthering knowledge and study in agriculture. The Gamma Chapter at UW-Madison began in 1928. The scholarship is named in honor of Dr. Robert Spitzer, a member of Delta Theta Sigma who became a prominent Wisconsin leader in agribusiness, higher education and public service. Another notable member, Dr. Conrad Elvehjem, made several important research discoveries related to human nutrition as a member of the UW-Madison department of Biochemistry and later became president of UW-Madison.

Incoming freshmen, sophomores, juniors; preference given to WI residents from rural areas and to current DTSG members; renewable for two years
