Ruth Glassow Memorial Scholarship in Dance
The Ruth Glassow Memorial Scholarship was established in 1988 by the bequest of the estate of Ruth B. Glassow, an early faculty member in the Women’s Physical Education Department. The scholarships are intended to promote the professional growth of women in the physical education program. Ruth earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from UW–Madison and was a professor of physical education and dance from 1946 to 1962.

Scholarship support for students enrolled in the Dance program.
