O.R. Zeasman Memorial Award

The O. R. and Gladys Zeasman Soil Sciences Fund was established by Gladys Zeasman (BS Home Economics 1916) in memory of her husband Otto Zeasman (BS Agricultural and Life Sciences 1914). The scholarship benefits students interested in soil and water conservation. Mr. Zeasman designed soil erosion control structures that were widely adopted throughout the United States and was an agricultural engineering professor at UW-Madison for thirty-five years.

Eligibility Criteria
Awarded to undergraduate students in CALS majoring in Soil Science who are interested in soil and water conservation. The Department of Soil Science nominates students for this award.
