Juanita S. Sorenson Scholarship

Junita Sorenson earneder bachelor’s master’s and doctoral degrees from the UW–Madison School of Education. She was a high school science teacher and then went on to work in educational research at UW–Madison. At the end of her career, she taught at UW–Eau Claire. Ms. Sorenson was known for her contributions to the fields of gifted education, individualized instruction, science education, and curriculum development.

Eligibility Criteria
Students in the Secondary Education Master’s program who are preparing to teach math, science, or computer or other technology. Must demonstrate high academic achievement and financial need.
