Karl and Ruth Drye Family Scholarship
Karl Drye graduated with a BS in Meat & Animal Science in 1966, and then earned a MS in Food Science in 1966. His wife, Ruth, graduated with BS in Nursing in 1966 and then worked as a registered nurse for many years. Along with their scholarship in CALS, they also support a scholarship in the School of Nursing. As life-long supporters of the UW-Madison, Karl and Ruth seek to help grow tomorrow’s leaders.
Scholarship recipients must be undergraduate students in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences who are members of the Iota Chapter of the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity. Although not a requirement, preference is given to those majoring in either Biochemistry, Biological Systems Engineering, Food Science, Genetics or Microbiology.
