Candice Wentlandt Memorial Scholarship

The Candice Wentlandt Memorial Scholarship was established by her family. Candice was a five-year member of the University of Wisconsin Marching Band and earned her bachelor’s degree in special education in 2012. After graduation she went on to become a cross categorical teacher at Kennedy Elementary School in Madison, where she was a tireless advocate for her students. She was pursuing a master’s degree in the School of Education at the time of her death in 2016.

Eligibility Criteria
Undergraduate students in the School of Education. Preference for students in the marching band and studying Special Education.
