Edward N. Himes Memorial Scholarship

The Edward N. Himes Memorial Scholarship was established by his family. Edward N. Himes, a 1955 graduate of the College of Letters and Science with a BS in Math, and a master’s degree from the University of Colorado-Boulder, was a career educator. He worked abroad with UNESCO and the Ford Foundation preparing students to become mathematics teachers in colleges. He had a passion for education and the family wishes to provide support to students who share that passion.

Eligibility Criteria
Students in the Secondary Education Master’s program. Students must be in the math education program and demonstrate financial need.
