John Corcoran Student Support Fund

The John Corcoran Student Support Fund provides a one-time award to first year students with financial need.

Completed applications are evaluated using donor criteria and College of Letters & Science criteria (academic excellence, community service, leadership, diversity, strength of character, and creative accomplishment) and require well written essays. In addition, scholarships with a financial need component require a completed FAFSA form on file with UW-Madison. Students who are not current recipients of Letters & Science multi-year scholarships are given priority. Students must be in and maintain good standing and full-time enrollment in the College of Letters & Science.

This fund was created with a gift from John Corcoran (BS, 1966, Political Science) and Laura Jenkins.

Apply for the College of Letters & Science Scholarships Application for Current First Year Students by using your campus NetID and password and clicking on the “Sign In” button on the top-right corner of this screen.
