Alfred J. and Marian A. Francour Great People Scholarship

Longtime Professor Alfred J. Francour never strayed far from his farming roots during his career. After receiving a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the UW, he began his career with 4-H groups in LaCrosse County. He spent 33 years at UW Extension, and was the general manager of the Wisconsin Farm Progress (Technology) Show. This scholarship, established in Professor and Mrs. Francour’s names, is to help students in financial need fulfill their college aspirations.
