The Scott Cutlip Scholarship Fund supports worthy undergraduate students studying public relations in the School of Journalism and Mass Communications.

Only School of Journalism and Mass Communication majors are eligible to apply for this scholarship. The application to apply for this and all other School of Journalism and Mass Communication scholarships is open the first two weeks of every December. Please visit our website for additional information on how to apply. Preference in selection is given to journalism students on the strategic communications track who have a special interest in public relations.
The Scott Cutlip Scholarship Fund was established in 1989 with gifts from alumni and friends to honor the late Scott Cutlip, a professor of Journalism. A graduate of the School, Professor Cutlip (‘41) was an accomplished member of the School’s faculty and a pioneer in public relations education.
