College of Letters & Science General Scholarship - Juniors & Seniors

The Letters & Science General Scholarship provides one-time awards to students pursuing a degree from the College of Letters & Science.

Completed applications are evaluated using College of Letters & Science criteria (academic excellence, community service, leadership, diversity, strength of character, and creative accomplishment). Successful applicants should also have strong recommendations and well written essays. In addition, scholarships with a financial need component require a completed FAFSA form on file with UW-Madison. Students who are not current recipients of Letters & Science multi-year scholarships are given priority.

These scholarships are funded by the generous contributions of donors to the Letters & Science scholarship fund at the University of Wisconsin Foundation.

Apply for Letters & Science scholarships by using your campus NetID and password and clicking on the Sign In button on the top-right corner of this screen.

Student financial aid packages can be impacted by scholarship awards. It is recommended that students contact the financial aid office to learn about impact on current aid packages.
