Marjorie Christiansen Abrahamsen Memorial Scholarship

This incoming first year student scholarship does not require completion of a separate application, rather, students are considered after submission of the admissions application and the FAFSA. College scholarships for first year students are very scarce and limited.

The Marjorie Christiansen Abrahamsen Memorial scholarship provides a 4 year renewable award to high achieving incoming freshman pursuing a degree from the College of Letters & Science.

Mr. Martin Abraham Abrahamsen established this scholarship to provide financial assistance to meritorious undergraduate students in the College of Letters & Science. His wife, Marjorie Abrahamsen, graduated with a degree in Human Ecology from UW-Madison in 1933.
