Anne Wilkins and Robert Mayer Bolz Wisconsin Distinguished Graduate Fellowship

This scholarship was established by Anne Wilkins Bolz, a School of Education Board of Visitors Emeritus member, and Robert Bolz ‘44. Robert majored in Mechanical Engineering. Robert was an heir to the Oscar Mayer wealth and a pillar of the community in the most expansive sense, who left his imprint on buildings, foundations and people throughout Madison. Anne was a lifelong philanthropist and volunteer. Previously she worked at Sears Roebuck and Co. in Chicago. She is a former nominating chair of the Madison Art Center’s Art League and former director of the Madison Children’s Museum. She has made philanthropic contributions to the Art Institute of Chicago, the Boys and Girls Club of Dane County, Mayo Clinic Foundation, Northwestern University, and the Wisconsin Historical Society. She established a scholarship at the Madison Rotary Foundation in honor of her late husband.
