Undergraduate Thesis Award

The Undergraduate Thesis Award provides a one-time award (amount subject to variation) to an undergraduate Psychology student to support completion of an undergraduate thesis project in a faculty research lab. Students are evaluated using criteria such as academic excellence, research experience, leadership, and strength of thesis proposal.

Students are also encouraged to complete the Arlene Davenport Award application.

Conditions of Award
Students must be a full-time, declared psychology major enrolled in an undergraduate thesis within the Department of Psychology. Students who have already received a Hilldale Undergraduate Research Fellowship are not eligible to receive the Psychology Department’s Undergraduate Thesis Award. Student financial aid packages can be impacted by scholarship awards. It is recommended that students contact the Office of Student Financial Aid at https://financialaid.wisc.edu to learn about potential impact on current aid packages.
