Wisconsin Singers Singers, Dancers, Instrumentalistis and theater tech Scholarships

Scholarships are awarded to all performers and theater techs in Wisconsin Singers (singers, dancers, instrumentalists, sound/lighting/stage management techs). Students of any major, including incoming freshmen, must audition/apply in May or June of the year preceding participation as well as fill out a scholarship application. Scholarship recipients receive awards based on a full academic year of performing with the Wisconsin Singers and satisfactory participation in the Wisconsin Singers student organization through the Wisconsin Involvement Network (WIN)

Eligibility Criteria
Wisconsin Singers (singers,dancers, instrumentalists, sound/lighting/stage management techs) is open to UW Madison students of any major including incoming freshmen and transfer students.

How to Apply

Selection Criteria
Singers, dancers, actors, brass and saxophone, keys, drumset, electric bass, and electric guitar players eligible. Sound engineer, stage manager, and lighting designers also needed.

Friends of Wisconsin Singers is the non profit organization that supports this 49 year old UW tradition of excellence.

Award Information
Scholarship award to all those chosen on the basis of their in-person audition (performers) or interview (technicians) and is based on acceptable participation for a full academic year.

Conditions of Award
Full year of participation as a Wisconsin Singer as well as minimum GPA of 2.0
