Emanuel Family Scholarship

The Emanuel Family Scholarship provides funding to an undergraduate majoring in Economics.

Scholarships with a financial need component require a completed FAFSA form on file with UW-Madison.

Ron Emanuel graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1968 with a major in Economics. After graduating, he built a chain of retail furniture stores in the Chicago region. Finding success in the industry after 3 decades, Ron went on to fond a real estate and investment company doing business across the country. Knowing the impact the UW and Economics Department had on his life and career, Ron wanted to establish a scholarship to assist others in the pursuit of their Economics degree.

Student financial aid packages can be impacted by scholarship awards. It is recommended that students contact UW’s Office of Student Financial Aid to learn about impact on current aid packages.
