Kindness Matters Scholarship
The Sosa family established the Kindness Matters Scholarship to support returning adult students with financial need and strong academic potential. The name, chosen by their daughter Aanya, reflects the family’s belief that love and kindness are most important.
Eligibility Criteria
- Break in education of at least 1 year
- Enrolled in an undergraduate or professional degree program
- Demonstrated financial need
- Academic promise and commitment, with a minimum 2.5 GPA
- U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or other eligible non-citizen
Conditions of Award
- Enrollment may be full- or part-time, but must be equivalent to the value of the scholarship
To be considered for this scholarship, submit an application through the ‘Scholarships for Nontraditional, Adult, & Single Parent Students’ opportunity. Up to 14 individual scholarships are associated with this application and are administered by the Division of Continuing Studies.
