Madhavan Scholarship

The Madhavan Scholarship provides funding to an undergraduate majoring in Economics. The student must demonstrate academic achievement.

Scholarships with a financial need component require a completed FAFSA form on file with UW-Madison.

Murugappa “Madhu” Madhavan (PhD, Economics, 1969) is establishing this fund for undergraduate students in honor of the wonderful experience he had in the Economics Department and for the role it has played in his career and life.

Student financial aid packages can be impacted by scholarship awards. It is recommended that students contact UW’s Office of Student Financial Aid to learn about impact on current aid packages.
