Charles R. Drew (MD Away Rotation) Scholarship

In 1983, Dr. Leroy T. Brown contributed funds with other donors to establish an annual scholarship award to support a fourth-year UW medical student serving in a clinical elective (i.e., an “away rotation”). This annual scholarship supports a medical student completing a visiting student program in an underserved community. One scholarship of $2,000 will be awarded annually. Applicants must be current M4s who have successfully completed an approved away rotation in an underserved community, recieving a passing grade for their performance.
