Department of Mathematics General Scholarship Application

The Department of Mathematics General Scholarship Application is not an individual scholarship application. Instead, it will match and automatically apply you to any of the following Math undergraduate scholarships that you may be eligible for.

The Augusta Schurrer Undergraduate Student Support Fund award is a one-time, merit-based scholarship award for undergraduate students majoring in mathematics who matriculated at UW-Madison as freshmen during (or in the summer immediately prior to) the previous academic year, are in their “second year” of studies, and are of at least sophomore standing.

The Felice Michaels Levin Scholarship Fund for Mathematics award is a one-time, merit-based scholarship award for undergraduate students majoring in mathematics.

The Frank D. Cady Scholarship is a one-time, need-based scholarship award for junior and senior undergraduate students majoring in mathematics who have career goals in mathematics.

The Linnaeus Wayland Dowling Scholarship is a one-time, merit-based scholarship award for undergraduate students majoring in mathematics.

The Mark H. Ingraham Math Scholarship Fund award is a one-time, merit-based scholarship award for sophomore, junior, and senior undergraduate students majoring in mathematics.

The Terry Millar Memorial Fund award is a one-time, merit-based scholarship for students who come from a low-income family, an undeserved rural area in Wisconsin, or are first-generation.

The Violet Higgitt Frank Scholarship is a one-time, merit-based scholarship award for undergraduate students majoring in mathematics.

The R. Creighton Buck Prize is a one-time, merit-based scholarship award for undergraduate students majoring in mathematics who demonstrate outstanding creativity in the field of mathematics.

I.L. Newman Mathematics Scholarship is a one-time, merit-based scholarship for undergraduate students majoring in mathematics and active in research.

David L. Young Mathematics Scholarship is a one-time, merit-based scholarship for undergraduate students majoring in mathematics who are pursuing a career in the field of mathematics..
