Steele, University League Thomas H. and Ramona J. Endowed Scholarship Awarding Fund

The Thomas H. and Ramona J. Steele Endowed Scholarship was created by Mona and the University League, in memory of Mona’s husband, Dr. Thomas H. Steele. Dr. Steele was a Professor of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health for 42 years who combined research, teaching and clinical responsibilities. It is awarded to medical students planning to pursue a career in academic medicine with an interest in nephrology.

This award is selected by the Department of Medicine.
