PT-2 Stephanie Joy (Graham) Lunning Scholarship Fund

This scholarship was created with a gift from Bruce Lunning, in memory of his spouse Stephanie Joy (Graham) Lunning (BS ’74), with the intent of assisting physical therapy students with the cost of their education and training. We both grew up in Monona on the east side of Madison. The UW was an influence for us both. Bruce’s step-brother, Mitch Jordan, is also a UW-Madison PT. Stephanie worked as a PT her whole life. She was a speaker at PT classes in Minnesota on the licensure process; she was the director of the Minnesota APTA peer review process for 10 years and the first director of the Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy. The purpose of this Fund is to provide an annual scholarship to a physical therapy student with financial need in the student’s graduating year in the University’s Physical Therapy (PT) Program.
