Elizabeth S. Hirschfelder Endowment for Physics
Students must be enrolled full-time in both semesters of the academic year and be physics graduate students.
Eligible applicants are women pursuing graduate degrees in physics.
The award has been given in the past for travel to professional conferences, assistance with childcare expenses or other expenses related to attaining an advanced degree. Elizabeth S. Hirschfelder received a Ph.D. in Chemistry in 1930 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
