Robert Rothschild

The Robert Rothschild Scholarship Trust Fund for Study Abroad was established in 2005. The initial funding for the trust was a legacy gift received by the estate of Robert (Bob) L. Rothschild ‘32. Bob a was a devoted Badger, actively involved with the Wisconsin Alumni Association Chicago Chapter. For several decades, he served as a member of the chapter’s Scholarship Committee. Through his involvement with awarding scholarships, Bob knew the positive influence that financial support can provide, and decided to allocate a portion of his estate that future Badgers would have the same opportunity that he had.
