Great People Great Place

The Great People Great Place Scholarship Initiative was established by the UW Foundation to house those gifts given during the time frame of the Great People Scholarship Initiative, which began in Spring 2008. The purpose of the fund shall be to provide scholarship support to undergraduate students at the college with financial need (as determined by the Office of Student Financial Services) who would be unable to afford a college education without financial assistance. The intent of the Great People Scholarship is to make a meaningful financial contribution toward the costs of deserving students who would not otherwise be able to attend the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
